Pine Bros Softish Throat Drops Review

I've never really cared for cough drops.  I don't like that "menthol cough syrup" taste.  I absolutely CANNOT stand, the smell of it on someones breath.  And the only cough drops I DO like, taste like candy and don't soothe a sore throat.  

I was chosen to review Pine Bros. Softish Throat Drops. I received them in Natural Honey, Wild Cherry, and Licorice.  Let me just tell you right off the bat, these are so different than your average throat drops.  They also come in pucks, or bags. I love the pucks because i can just stick one or two in my purse and I'll always have them on me just n case.

For starters, these aren't hard. They're squishy. They actually reminded me of those jujube candies.  They aren't gummy though, if you try to bite them, you won't just be able to chew it up and eat it.  Its more dense than a gummy. and they won't melt as quickly as a hard throat drop. The taste of these is just right, not too overwhelming, but not subtle. They ease any throat discomfort you may have quickly, and with ease. delicious too!

My two favorites were the Wild Cherry, and the Natural Honey.  The honey drops taste just like you're pouring real honey into your mouth, but not as strong. They are so good. 

I was very reluctant to try the cherry drops because as I said, I DO NOT like cough syrup smelling or tasting cough drops. I actually hate them. ESPECIALLY the cherry ones. Honestly, these don't taste ANYTHING like those nasty cough drops. These literally taste like a cherry. I actually might like these the best!

Now for the Licorice..  I'm a huge fan of licorice jelly beans. So i was super excited about these. These do taste just like licorice! they taste great, make my throat feel great.  The only reason the licorice flavor wasn't a favorite, was because I'm not sure how i feel about sucking on something licorice. Usually, i can just chew it up and swallow it. But with these, you can't do that. Now don't get me wrong, i did like these a lot! They just weren't my fave.
